Flat-rate shipping is $85 plus a 10 percent discount off the purchase price for clients with orders less than $850. Clients who live within 30 miles of downtown Kansas City, KS can opt for local delivery. A team member will contact you within 48 hours to schedule delivery of in-stock items. Deliveries typically occur within five business days. For a small extra fee, delivery specialists can bring tools and assemble the order. Free Local Pick-ups Come by our wholesaler's location at 501 Funston Road, Kansas City, KS 66115, to shop their 30,000 square foot furniture showroom or to pick up your order. Nationwide Delivery Orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt. Clients are notified at that time of approximate delivery times. Home Sweet Furniture provides conservative delivery estimates of 3-5 weeks for most in-stock orders. All deliveries are shipped curbside by highly trained furniture delivery specialists. Orders are delivered to your door, or to the first dry area. It’s the client’s responsibility to bring the package inside and setup. We'll work to match or beat their price. Returns Any item purchased may be returned for up to 30 days from the date of delivery. Home Sweet Furniture reserves the right to deny a return if the item is damaged after delivery. Delivery charges are non-refundable and the cost of return shipping is at the client’s expense. A 20 percent restocking fee will be assessed to all returned items. Due to the nature of Special order items they are handled differently. First, that they are charged immediately after stock is confirmed with the factory. Second, they cannot be cancelled or returned due to the nature of Special orders being purchased from the factory on behalf of the customer at the time of processesing. Our factories will not take back any returns, and as such, we cannot. Damages Home Sweet Furniture is not responsible for the handling of the merchandise once it leaves the warehouse. Any damage that occurs after the order is shipped is not the responsibility of Home Sweet Furniture. Our delivery companies are licensed, bonded and insured. They strive to lower the risk of product damage. Customers must note any damage on the delivery receipt for a claim to be filed and for replacement or repair to be authorized. Please inspect the exterior of the packaging thoroughly and note any damage on the delivery receipt. If it is clear the product is damaged, too, clients have the right to refuse delivery. Clients must notify Home Sweet Furniture within 48 hours of receiving the product if there are damages. Please provide photos and email them to us. Cancellations For in-stock items, there are no fees for cancellations made within 24 hours of initial purchase. Cancellations made after 24 hours of purchase are assessed a 6 percent processing fee, as well as any shipping and handling fees that apply. Special orders may not be cancelled. Clients receive email notification at the time an order is placed and have 24 hours to verify the accuracy of the information. If a customer does not notify us of any changes, Home Sweet Furniture will proceed with the order. To cancel an order, clients must submit the request via e-mail. |
